Papad is an important part of our diet. If we get papad with food, then the taste of the food is doubled. There are many types of papad such as - semolina papad, ararot papad, wheat papad, lentil papad, maida papad, gram flour papad, rice papad etc. Today I have brought for you an easy recipe of rice papad. With this method you can easily make rice papad.

If you know the right method, it is very easy to make rice papad and it also takes less time to make. You can keep this papad for a long time and you can eat it after frying it in oil whenever you want.

This is the perfect recipe for making rice papad, you must try this recipe once.












Ingredients

1. 125 grams (1/2 cup) raw rice 2. 95ml water 3. 1/4 tsp salt 4. 20 curry leaves 5. 2 green chilies 6. 5 grams flour


Method

Step 1

  • Wash and soak 125 grams (1/2 cup) of raw rice overnight.



  • Take out the rice from the water and grind it in a mixer jar by adding 1/2 cup rice and 1/4 cup water. Keep in mind here that water has to be taken half of the amount of rice.

  • Smooth and fine grinding on pulse mood in mixer.




  • sieve in a bowl.




  • Add 5 grams of all purpose flour and mix it well.



  • Finely chop 20 curry leaves and mix.



  • Finely chop 2 green chilies and mix.

  • Add 1/4 tsp salt, mix well.




  • Check the solution with the help of a spoon.





Step 2

  • You can take tiffin lids, bowls etc. to make papad.


  • Spread half a teaspoon of the solution in a lid or bowl.


  • Take a pan or mold for making idli and put as many lids or bowls in it as you can.



  • Cover the top and cook on medium flame for 1 minute.



  • Take a big bowl of water and demold the papads in it.



  • Just put the lid or bowl in a bowl of water for 10 seconds and take it out.

  • Remove the papad with the back of a knife or spoon.




  • Spread on a plastic sheet or thin cloth.



  • Dry it in the sun or in the air of a fan, turning it occasionally

  • In 4 to 5 hours the papads are dry and ready to eat.



Step 3

  • For frying papad, heat oil in a pan, reduce the flame to low.

  • Fry the papads by pressing with a ladle.



  • Papads are ready to eat.
