Ingredients :

  • 500 ml water(RO water or boiled and completely cool water)

  • 25 ml acetic acid (glacial brand)

  • glass bowl

  • wooden or plastic spoon/spatula

  • sterilized glass jar

  • funnel

Method :

  • To make white vinegar, first we will need a glass vessel and a wooden or plastic spoon to stir the vinegar.

  • To make 1/2 liter of white vinegar, we will need 2 cups of water i.e. 500 ml water or half a liter of RO water, and if there is no facility of RO water then you can heat half a liter of water. Boil it and let that water cool down completely, after that use that water.

  • Add half a liter of water to a deep glass bowl, now 25 ml of that water Contain acetic acid (acetic acid of glacial),

  • If you are making white vinegar only for cleaning purposes, then in that case add 50 to 60 ml of acetic acid in 2 cups of water and use it only for cleaning.

  • Mix both the things together with a wooden or plastic spoon.

  • White vinegar is ready.

  • To make white vinegar even more effective, you can add about 1 gram of citric acid to it. But this is optional.

  • Now fill the prepared vinegar in a clean dry (sterilized) glass bottle, use a plastic funnel to fill the bottle

  • And now use the prepared white vinegar as per your requirement.

Some important things to note:

  • There is about 5 to 7 percent acetic acid inside 1 liter of white vinegar available in the market, keeping this ratio in mind, we have prepared S vinegar.

  • If you are making white vinegar for use in cleaning, then you can increase the amount of acetic acid in the water. And can be prepared by making a strong vinegar.
